Celebrating Three Years Of Trading…
Are you ready to party, GTP? Well you should be! Three years is quite an achievement of establishment and is well deserving of a celebration. As of the making of this article GTP holds the title of “Largest Trading Server” in the entire world as it has over 11,000 members! That number is backed by active chats, auctions, bazaar channels, giveaways, events, and so much more!
Great, That's Progress!
Created on 7/16/2018 with the first message from “Soul” came the greatest Wizard101 trading server in existence. The first ‘trial mod’ group included the following users:
- Kaboom
- One Banned Boi
- Dorf
- Dragonia
- Super
- Synergy
At first called Trial Hall Monitor, these users had to undergo a 2 week trial before becoming official trial hall monitors! These two ranks are present day trial mods and mods! This has not changed much from our current process other than the amount of material our new trial mods must learn in the moment, and the name of the rank!
James was welcomed to the team as an admin on 7/21/2018! Did you know he was not the original owner? He took the reigns of ownership on 7/28/2018.
Get To Partying!
Staff helpers are a BIG part of GTP both today and in the past as well.
The staff helper role; Auction Squad was created on 8/3/2018, while Middleman and Event Squad members were in the works at the time. Without staff helpers surely GTP would be in chaos.
Things remain organized, smooth and fun because of GTP’s unique staff helpers. Roles of announcements held a large part early on as well, with Early Bird being created on 8/1/2018. This role allowed users to be granted first dibs to announcements and important imformation that was released to the public.

Pikachu was welcomed to the admin team on 12/6/20 by James. As a crucial addition to the admin team Mary took on a full swing of duties with no complaining. Mary’s dedication to GTP shines through even the darkest of moments in GTP’s history thus far. Mary is often seen in the auction district as the biggest auction clown of them all. GTP would be little to nothing without Mary’s webhook journeys to create a far more organized trading system for each of us to enjoy. Please take a moment of your time to thank Mary for all her hard work and the time she spends to ensure your trading experiences are safe, and fun in GTP.
ABP
ABP was welcomed to the admin team by James on 12/06/2020. A heavygrinder of the deckathalon and monstrology you can often catch ABP in wizard-general or any conversation regarding Wizard101. Whether with events, or keeping a fun presence through GTP, ABP is constantly contributing and assisting the community to ensure safety and fun! Next time you see ABP be sure to say hello and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the server.
Kat
Kat is the newest addition to the admin team as of the release of this article. James invited Kat to join the other admins on 5/23/2021. Kat has been seen working with suggestions and ensuring everything remains smooth and functional. If you see Kat in general be sure to say hello and thank you for all of your hard work for GTP.
Fsniper
The ruler of the auction house and true sniper, Fsniper was invited to the admin team by James on 3/27/2021. Sniper spends most of their time working on the development side, ensuring that the bots run smoothly and assisting the staff team with anything they could need regarding maintenance of the server. You may catch Sniper in the auctioning district, if you do be sure to say hello and thank you for all your hard work!
a&w
The famous rootbeer was added to the admin staff team by James on 3/10/2021. A critical addition to the team ever since, a&w has shown value and the motivation to assist the other admins with the heavy load they have. Things have become smooth, and easy going with a&w’s assistance and dedication to the team. You may find a&w in the general chat, or listening to spotify music! If you listen in, be sure to thank them for their hard work and eagerness to help the server continue to improve.
Growing To Perfection
No one is perfect. Not even GTP has obtained perfection yet! However there is one thing that GTP has and always will continue to achieve: activity. GTP is the most active, largest, safetest, and FUN Wizard101 server in existence.
James’ goal is to ensure that GTP remains safe as it continues to grow, and thanks to the staff team and ever present dedication from the Middlemen GTP is not far from this goal.
