A Purple, Electrifying Nightmare!

"So this is what it comes down to, huh? Chase me out of my Turbine just because my presence could spell meteorological disaster for thousands... Try to trap me in a shell filled with so ... much delicious electricity ... No, NO! I will not accept such a wonderful fate. I have only one thing to say to you and your tantalizingly zap tastic shell... BOO!!"

Spooky Boy

Known for spamming bugs and tempest with a 1-shot capable wipe of a 4 man team, today’s Creature Highlight is the tall, hooded, electric ghost himself: Voltergeist.

Voltergeist101

Locked behind a long and dragged out side-quest line is the terror in purple. You may access this boss through the “Be Our Geist” questline found in Empyrea, within the heart of Northeast Aero Plans. This storm boss is incredibly nasty within combat. Why, just take a look at the Voltergeist’s base stats alone, with no blades or modifiers!

Wow! What a whopping outgoing pierce sitting at 27%. Not to mention the damage boost which is 110%! This boss makes a vibrant statement with raw power: he’s a dangerous foe not to be underestimated. It’s safe to say this ghost will turn you into a ghost if given the opportunity. He certainly has the spell deck to one shot a wizard that is unprepared. The AI this boss uses has displayed it prefers to mow down wizard’s health as quickly as possible. It does this by utilizing hard hitting spells such as bugs, catch of the day, and storm lord. Do not let this boss set up by any means situation. Listed below is the spell pool of Voltergeist.

Monstrology: He’s a Friend!

A must have for solo missions as he runs down the competition. With the overwhelming 8000 hp, and the offensive stats he holds, it’s clear he is a summonable minion that will demolish any mob or boss in almost any world.

Some ideal fight encounters in which to summon this boss are as following:

  • Tezomoc Stone Singer
  • Cyrio Cassini
  • The Hoarder
  • Tlotzin Moon Thief
  • Clemente Moraga

His cost ratios are as any boss would be with Monstrology. Turning his animus into a summon treasure card costs 20 raw animus, and 1000 gold. While a house guest is 30 raw animus and 2500 gold. This is a small price to pay to have such an ally in a wizard’s solo only combat circle.
