Miracles of Mirage

Nestled in the lounging, cheat-filled challenge of Wizard101 known as Arc III lies a world of sheer joy, exhilaration and excitement. Mirage’s endless and bountiful sands, coupled with lyrical music, powerful storytelling and detail rich graphics make it one of the best designed worlds in the history of the game. In addition, the conveniently located ghultures in Caravan readily drop Couch Potatoes, which can drop Mega Snacks at elder.

For the countless daunting Wizards who use Crowns to purchase worlds, there are six different areas to purchase: Caravan/Alkali, Aggrobah, Caterwaul/Rubal/Chronoverge, Istanboa/Yakhal, Thieves’ Den, and Eerem/Chronoverge. Each of the six areas aforementioned cost 1995 crowns each, totaling Mirage 11,970 crowns for a full-world experience.

Mirage’s NPCs are famous in the Wizarding storyline for the magical story they spin. Ozzy, one of the funniest and well-written NPCs, is a Wizard’s assistant for much of the Alkali Barrows, Aggrobah, and Thieves’ Den. As an ally, Ozzy provides +5% pierce to aid you in battle.

Another reputable NPC famous in Mirage’s storyline is Ali Baboon, descended from the kings of the ancient Baboloonian Empire and leader of the Fortee Thieves. Seemingly an insipid thief at the beginning of the plot, Ali Baboon’s tale becomes increasingly complex as he and his thieves evade the Wizard’s attempts to catch him. Despite his overzealous and outright irritating way of speaking, Ali grows on us as the story goes on, choosing to give up his prized Djinni lamp in recognition of his losses and the meaning of a fight. Even in his sparse appearances in the beginning, Ali remains a memorable aspect of Mirage’s NPC timeline and one of the foremost characters in the world.

Aside from the invigorating aforementioned quests, numerous adventurous opportunities lie in wait. From the dangerous cheats of Eerkala in the lush Eerem Gardens, to the plentiful bounty of reagents in the Tower of Babble, there is not one minute of the plot that will leave you bored. In particular, some notable quests include The Rebel Rouser; the quest to defeat Princess Miriam, Eerkala’s Secret; the quest to discover the Djinn conspiracies, and Grandfather Spider: Mirage’s last boss quest and the opportunity to defeat the vindictive Old Cob.

Fortunately, there is no crafting quest in Mirage, instead replaced by a plethora of rousing side quests. Prison Break…, a quest which rewards 43,500 gold, two Pixie Stix, and a Grandmaster Socket Wrench, distinguishes itself from other quests with seemingly lackluster rewards. The quest’s rewards could easily fund a pet hatch and offers an easy alternative to gold farming in Vestrilund. Another comparable gold source is the Serpentine Love Story, which begins in the Rubal Wastes and earns one wizard 20,500 gold, two Chocolate Moousses and an Eerem Courtier’s Razor.

From the blaring juxtaposition of the Rubal Wastes to the Caterwaul Canyons, or the dear companionship of allies Ozzy and Istar, Mirage is a world prevalent with fantasy, charm and fervent adventure.
